About me

From an early age, I was fascinated by how companies manage to grow over decades while remaining high-performing. This curiosity shaped my professional path: from the outset, I focused on learning corporate development from the ground up – from strategic planning and organizational development to leadership.

Growing up in a small family business taught me early on that responsibility must be taken, problems solved, and trust earned every single day through commitment. This experience became a solid foundation for the path I chose.

Throughout my career, I consistently chose roles that allowed me to work directly with entrepreneurs and senior decision-makers – in established, internationally successful mid-sized companies as well as later in a North American global player – across different industries and company sizes. From my role as an assistant to the managing director during my business administration studies, through project leadership positions and ultimately into functions within the inner circle of leadership, I learned corporate development step-by-step in practice and took operational ownership of it.

As my responsibilities increased, it became clear that companies can only sustain their growth trajectory over the long term if they are willing to continuously realign themselves culturally and structurally. In my experience, this is achieved most effectively where such realignment is understood and practiced as a continuous process of development. However, I have also seen that even in such companies there can come a point — for various reasons — where an acute need for realignment emerges. This need can no longer be addressed as part of the ongoing development process or through smaller initiatives on the side. In such cases, it becomes essential to launch a company-wide transformation project with a clear mandate and top priority from the executive leadership.

I have led several of these complex transformation projects with full responsibility. The insights and experience gained from them form the foundation of my modular approach, which I use today to support mid-sized companies and corporate groups with acute realignment needs in successfully delivering their transformation — from a robust status quo analysis, through strategy development, to day-to-day implementation.

The Approach

„Making the most of what is already there, refusing to accept perceived limitations, and viewing a step back not as a setback but as an opportunity — these are the principles that have guided me since my years in competitive sports.“

Shaped by Equestrian Sport

Dedicated to equestrian sport from early childhood, I entered competitive show jumping at the age of twelve and went on to experience a remarkable athletic career. Starting with small regional competitions, I was selected for the state squad while still in school, and after graduating, I was appointed to the German Armed Forces’ Sports Promotion Unit for top-level athletes, followed by appointments to the national and perspective squads. During this period, I represented Germany successfully at international tournaments.

The horses that I owe my sporting career to had been part of our family since they were foals and were trained by me personally. The experience of rising through the ranks with the same team — from local amateur competitions to the international stage — has had a lasting influence on me.
